UFCST to hold workshop Nov. 9, 2015

The University of Florida Center for Smell and Taste will hold a workshop November 9 in the McKnight Brain Institute.

The workshop aims to educate UFCST membership on some of the major research areas within the center, highlight the challenges of to the growth of chemosensory research and education at UF and affiliated institutions, and to identify ways to overcome these challenges in the coming years.

The workshop will be broken into four sessions where members of the chemosensory community will give short talks about their work and its relationship to the session topic, followed by a panel discussion on how best to build that area of research.

Faculty, students, postdocs and staff are all invited to attend and participate in the discussion. Registration is free, and two coffee breaks and a catered lunch will be provided to registered participants – a simple registration will be sent out next week.

If you have any questions, please direct them to Steven Munger, PhD. We look forward to seeing you there and hearing your ideas about how to strengthen chemosensory research and education in Florida.
