Why Loss of Smell From COVID-19 Deserves More Attention

Anosmia can lead to subsequent health issues and loss of quality of life such as depression and social withdraw. Poor nutrition or disinterest in food all together trickle down from lack of taste. Much attention has been directed to the field of smell and taste due to the long standing affects of COVID-19. Studies show around 15% of COVID-19 patients endure long tern smell and taste impairment. In this article Munger expresses the importance of the study of sense of smell now more than ever.
